Dr Olivia Chapple will be talking about the benefits of gardens to health and well-being and the impact of gardens in hospital settings.
Dr Olivia Chapple MRCGP is the founder and chair of the trustees of the charity Horatio's Garden. The charity was set up as a legacy to Olivia’s eldest son Horatio whose ideas and research inspired the ethos of the garden. Olivia is a former GP, who recognises the benefits of the natural environment in health prevention and wellbeing. Horatio's Garden charity creates stunning, award winning, garden havens in the heart of the NHS spinal injury centres for patients who are facing life changing injuries.
