Nicole began her career in the property and furniture industry where she gained valuable experience to set her in good stead for a career in interior design. Nicole started working as a designer at Nina Campbell before moving to other prestigious design practices ending up back at Nina Campbell as Senior Designer some 7 years later.
Nicole has experience in a wide range of design styles and has worked on properties throughout London, the UK and abroad. While happy mixing antiques and modern design to create classic and timeless interiors, Nicole is also skilled at designing bespoke fitted and loose furniture to give clients a completely unique home. Working closely with builders and architects is also one of Nicole’s strengths.
Mary begun her career working at English Heritage. From this she went on to study interior decoration at KLC in London before moving to Leveson Design, a high-end interior design company specialising in period properties. During her 8 years there she honed her skills working on a variety of different projects, from country houses and castles to motor yachts and corporate boxes, before going on to set up Salvesen Graham.
Although experienced in all styles of interior design, Mary specialises in historic properties and country houses and has a love of antiques and decorative items. She believes that antiques and modern pieces can sit beautifully together (the key being good quality and good design regardless of period) and that a successful interior must always work with the architecture of the building, not against it.
