This very nice Queen Anne Britannia silver porringer was made in London in 1713 by Francis Singleton and measures 7.5 inches handle to handle by 4 inches tall and 4.5 inches in dia across the top, it has a cast scrolled handle either side, a raised rope design towards the top of the body with engraving above and a large embossed cartouche to the front that is vacant with spiral fluting to the bottom third of the body again with engraving above. It is fully and clearly hallmarked to the side and is in very good condition and weighs 9.25 ounces or 289 grams.
