This superb and heavy William IV silver Trailing Vine pattern slice was made in London in 1836 by Jonathan Hayne and Dudley Cater and measures 12.25 inches in length and has a beautifully patterned handle running down both sides and onto the blade on the front, the blade is well pierced and fully and clearly hallmarked on the back and it is in excellent condition weighing 7.40 ounces or 230 grams.
