This very nice good quality George II silver sparrow beak jug was made in London in 1735 by George Greenhill Jones and measures 3 3/8 inches to the top of the handle by almost 3 inches handle to spout, it has a heart shaped terminal at the base of the spout and a lovely scrolled handle and is fully hallmarked underneath where it also bears the engraved initials of P over WM, a super jug in excellent condition weighing 2.40 ounces or 75 grams
