Pair of Indian silver beakers marked for MM – recorded but name currently unknown. Probably made in Cutch (Bhuj), Circa 1885- 1890. See ‘Indian Silver 1858-1947 by Wynyard Wilkinson, page 92 for the mark and page 70 where it is noted “a probably Bhuj maker c.1880 (his, very good, work usually features various species of bird amid the scrolls)”
