This very nice pair of Continental parcel gilt fighting cocks were made C1900 and are of 800 standard silver, they measure 11.75 inches and 11.25 inches long by 7 and 9 inches tall and are well modelled with areas of gilding some of which is worn now, they are hallmarked on their tails and the bodies are cast and quite heavy making them steady for display, a very nice pair of detailed cocks.
