Good James I silver Maidenhead spoon London 1616 John Saunders
This James I silver Maidenhead spoon was made in London in 1616 by John Saunders and measures 6 1/8 inches in length, it has a nicely fashioned maidens head to the top of the spoon where there remains some of the original gilding and it is fully hallmarked to the back of the stem and in the bowl with the leopards head, the bowl is well formed with no obvious signs of wear and it is in very good condition weighing ounces or 30 grams.
