This very nice Charles I silver seal top spoon was made in London in 1633 by Daniel Cary and measures 6.75 inches in length, it has the pin pricked initials on MD over MO 1633 to the top of the seal and the seal is nicely defined and still sharp, it also has the engraved inscription along the front stem of “Priscilla Ouiarne to” and on the back of the stem “Priscilla Maria Darington”. It is fully and very clearly hallmarked to the back of the stem and also to the well formed bowl with the leopards head, a lovely spoon in very good condition weighing ounces or 50 grams.
