A George II burr walnut and giltwood cabinet on chest, the cavetto cornice with a gilt moulding, above a pair of indented bevelled mirror doors enclosing a part fitted interior with shelves and drawers, on a base with an arrangement of eighteen cross banded drawers with original plate handles, supported on bracket feet with giltwood carving. Possibly by Giles Grendey (1693-1780).
