Additional Information: This work is hand signed in pencil by the artist "Picasso" at the lower left margin. It is also hand numbered in pencil “33/50” at the lower right margin. It is also dated twice in the plate "6.6.57" and in reverse "12.1.58". This is the second state of three, there were a further 50 impressions of the third and final state. It was printed by Imprimerie Mourlot, Paris in 1958 in a limited edition of 50 impressions. There were also six artist’s proofs. It was published by Galerie Louise Leiris, Paris. The paper bears the Arches watermark. Other impressions of this subject are held in the collections of Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Kemper Art Museum, Saint Louis. Literature: 1. Mourlot, F.
