The 2013 Country Life & LAPADA Object of the Year finalists: the experts’ guide to these exceptional objects

Learn more about twelve exceptional objects selected by a panel of eminent expert judges from the museum world for their rarity and historic importance, experts will champion their favourite objects giving you an insight into why the work is so special.  The lecture will be chaired by LAPADA Chairman, Lord Chadlington, and will culminate in the announcement of the 2013 Object of the Year.

Since 2000, Lord Peter Chadlington has been Chief Executive of Huntsworth plc the international public relations and healthcare communications company. He is also very active in national politics as a working peer in the House of Lords and in local politics as President of the West Oxfordshire Conservative Association.

Lord Chadlington has been active in the arts as Chairman of LAPADA, Chairman of the Royal Opera House, member of the Arts Council, and was the first Chairman of the Lottery Distribution arm of the Arts Council of England.
