A beautifully paint papier mache tea caddy by Henry Clay, decorated with quaint rural scenes. Scenes of a farmer and his herd, fisherman, and a group of boating folk are set against the backdrop of a beautiful blue sky. The interior has a single floating lid with small silver handle. This Caddy was once part of Eila Grahames collection.
Eila Grahame owned an antiques shop for 40 years on Kensington church street and was a hub for both dealers and collectors. She was no ordinary dealer and was proud of families history, descending from the Grahames of Duntrune and Claverhouse.
