British artist Pip Todd-Warmoth has established himself as one of London’s foremost representational painters. He studied Fine Art at the Camberwell School of Fine Art in London, and completed a Master’s degree in Painting from the Royal Academy. After graduating Pip pursued his dreams of travelling the world to take photos, immerse himself in different cultures, and of course, to paint.
These travels have taken him to Nepal, Tibet, Hong Kong, India, East Germany, South America, Mongolia, Russia, and many other exciting and sometimes dangerous destinations. Today Todd-Warmoth focuses on spending more time in his studio, working on developing and getting to the heart of his subjects. The depth of the work is what you notice most; the intensity, backlighting, layering, and building up of paint and texture that conveys the mood of the subject.
